Adventures in Asia

Sometimes missing a ferry is a good thing…

Now it is off to meet up with Simon and Justine for a few weeks.

Francie and I were supposed to be shuttled out from Koh Jum via long boat to a ferry heading to Koh Lanta.  At Koh Lanta we had a theroetical 30 minutes to transfer to the Koh Phi Phi ferry.  Of course things are running a little late on the first ferry and we miss our connection.

We were very sad because we had to stay at Phra Ae Beach for a night.  For those following along with a map we are here in the Lanta island/Phi Phi area.  Sometimes missing a ferry is a good thing…

Here is also a nice picture for you people in the land of cold, snow and ice.

P.S. Whoever has my patent plaque–give it back or I will taunt you a second time.

  2. Meetings, features, priorities, spring/fall, bugs, synccast, work-items, zune, UX, details page, wmis, drm, subscription, multi-pass, service, level 2k boxes, flash, previews, decisions…oh wait…finally hit a word you’re probably still dealing with in your new life.

Just a little reminder taste of the incredibly fun times you’re missing around here that’s likely still relatively fresh in your mind. Without too much disrespect; if you did have that patent plak I’d hope you’d be using it for a drink coaster or firewood.

  3. We’re back from Palm Springs were it was cold, cold, cold and thus not so much fun.
Keep on posting. I read your blog and I imagine how much fun you have there. I wish I had something as exciting to share, but not for now. Keep up the good work, as the poet says.
