Adventures in Asia

Hong Kong is Yummy

I have always had a crush on Hong Kong.  Ever since I was in college in good ol’ Texas I have had at least a fleeting wish to pack up and move here.  Finally, I am here and Francie and I get to spend three weeks learning Mandarin–classes start on June 7th.  The place is so incredibly international (yeah, I know that is an obvious statement to make) and beautiful. This picture is looking back at Hong Kong island from one of the piers.

Hong Kong at Night

The food is really incredible.  We have eaten at sushi bars the last two nights.  Everything we have eaten has been great.

On Monday, we are going to Hong Kong’s Aquarium–the largest in the world.  We are also looking into a number of bands to see around town.  More on all this later.
