Adventures in Asia

by Greg & Francie

Next up on Adventures in Asia!

Francie and I have been talking about the schedule–so I decided to do a post to let everyone know what’s up next!

You can see my Francie’s impressive graphics skill as I chart our plan on this map:

<to be added back>

As you can see we will now be going to New Zealand for 2 weeks instead of India for 2 months.  Well, we decided that (1) it would be nice to be in Seattle for December; (2) we are a little over budget and it would be nice to have jobs lined up for the January-February timeframe (we also don’t want to eat up the reserves we have to buy a house) and (3) it gives us a trip to look forward to in the not-so-near future.

You may wonder how Fiji got squeezed into the trip?  Well, this part of the trip is still a little tentative but we realized that it may be the same price to fly from Auckland to Fiji then Seattle as flying straight from Auckland to Seattle (thanks Joann for the tip).  And who couldn’t resist going to another country with a coup?

As you can see Tom Fuller will be joining us for some beach time in Bali and we are very excited about that!

  7. There is apparently a beach in NZ called Hot Water Beach – geothermal activity near the ocean -when the tide goes out you can dig yourself a natural hot tub!

    Take notes on what you do – scott and I are going in Feb…
