Pimpin’ my ride

I got some great ideas today on how I can pimp out my motorcycle better when we get back to Seattle. Maybe I should try and bring “streamers” back in style! The “comfort rug” on the seat is also a good idea. A little extra cushion for those long rides would be sweet.

  1. Hello Great Blog.

What part of North Western China was this photo taken? I notice that the bottom saddle blanket (with the crosses) is Amdo Tibetan.

  3. I’m more interested in the front fender decoration… is that a circuit board?

  5. Jim – this moto was in a town called Songpan in northern Sichuan province, where there are many Tibetans. Just today in fact we visited a nearby tibetan buddhist temple.

The front fender decor *I think* is just a plate with Tibetan writing on it. It’s a nice touch!
