Next stop: Everest Base Camp

Tomorrow morning we’re heading off again on a 5 day journey from Lhasa to Everest Base camp and back. We’ll be staying for 2 nights at Rongphu Monastery, the highest monastery in the world at 4980m, 16,600 ft. From there it is a 7k hike to EBC (5300m, 17,600 ft). Good thing we got acclimatized to high altitude on our trek!

Not sure if we’ll have internet access along the way, so it might be another 5 days before we post.
